Probably OK to leave it there, but I did not want to!

Just a precaution to clean it and see what's on the bottom after 200,000 miles, not a big deal.

Agreed, over the years I have had every car I have owned get the transmission flushed by the "evil machine" and not one has had an issue as a result. Highest mileage on a trans that went through a trans flush was 220,000 miles and that was the first trans service ever done to it. I have been doing trans flushes on my vehicles for over 15 years now without 1 issue.
