Transmission fluid idea
Just had an idea which i wish i could make happen. Just thought it was funny since on almost EVERY thread there is an argument between ATF+4 and Dex/Merc III in the AW4.
Personally i agree with the FSM and following the original way by using Dex/merc

Get 4 XJs with exact same transmission condition (if only could find new ones), run two of them with ATF+4 and two of them with DexMerc III for like 50,000 miles, and just see what each of their conditions are.
Obviously very farfetched and not doable (for me at least), i just thought it was a pretty funny idea in light of all the disagreement on the topic 1
