Question Transmission cooler line connection leak on tranny.

So i just bought an 88 cherokee 2 door automatic for 270. they couldnt get it to run so i put a cps in it and it ran. It had a leaky injector, so i swapped that. it was leaking, more like pouring onto the exauhst! and there is a tranny cooler line that goes from the tranny cooler to the transmission. The part of the hose that connects to the transmission on one of them leaks. I disconnected the hose the plastic clip came out with a little fight and the O-ring fitting had nothing wrong with it. so i put it back in good and tight and it still leaks. Any idea of how to stop the leak?

Question

And i believe the one that is leaking has a good size pinch in it. would that make it leak where it connects to the trans?

it could be split where it is kinked.

you could just cut the hose or metal tube and replace with a rubber line and hose clamp.

if you have to go from rubber to rubber, then use a plastic splicer in the hose when you clamp it down.

You should probably just replace the o ring even though it looks ok...

I said that same thing with my fuel injectors and as soon as I put the old ones back on they all started leaking...
