Default Transmission change

So I'm in the process of changing all the fluids in my 99. I've done both differentials the and transfer case with out any issues. As far as the transmission, I've drained the old nasty fluid out. Raised the front to get as much black gold out. The question is, is it worth it drop the pan and change or clean the filter our just change the fluid. I've read others do the drain, drive, drain, drive method too. And input would be much appreciated.

That's what I'd recommend. Use a name-brand ATF labeled Dex III, D/M, DIII, etc.
