What automatic transmission does my 85 Jeep Cherokee have? It has the 2.8 V6 (soon to be a 4.3 ). Will a 4.3 bolt up to my stock transmission or am I gonna have to buy an adapter plate that is almost 600 dollars? I am finally ready to do the swap now that I have acquired a Jeep to drive while the swap is being performed. God I hope this is gonna be as easy as it looks!
