On my 98 xj sport 4.0 . You can be driving along and it slides right ou of drive .the transmission dont slip or anything . You can turn key off and restart and its fine for a few minutes. Wondering if this is a vacuum problem or maybe a sensor going out

 

Check the linkage and make sure its all the way in drive. It could be adjusted slightly off and hitting nuetral.
