I've got a hole in mine, stop leak worked for a week. Wondering radiator to go with. I'm going dual electric fans, anything helps. Thanks.

I bought my last two radiators from The Radiator Barn. Very competitive pricing, fast delivery, and they are good people to deal with. I got 3 row all brass radiators for both my 90 and 91 XJ's from them. They seem to be very good quality.

Be sure to flush your cooling system (use a flushing chemical) to try to get as much of that stopleak product out of your cooling system BEFORE you install the new radiator.
And when I install a radiator, it is always a good time to review other components of the cooling system as money spent on cooling system maintenance is money well spent.
Hoses, thermostat (195 degree only), fan clutch, radiator cap, and especially water pump as it is completely exposed. None of these parts are particularly expensive, if you are doing the labor yourself.
Finish with a 50-50 mix of conventional (green) antifreeze and distilled water. Verify concentration with a hydrometer.

now you've probably clogged up your heater core using stop leak. it should be called "stop heat".

Hmm, I've never had any problems with clogging the heater core or anything else in the cooling system using the powdered metal type radiator stop leaks. And they work really good at stopping cooling system leaks too.
