i have a 2wd auto cherokee 95. i need to replace the transmission and i was wondering if i needed a 2wd tranny or if i could get a 4x4 tranny

 

Any desire to convert to 4x4? You could start it now and finish later.

You cant use a 4x4 transmission without also adding a transfercase. You could do this now and the front axle and shifter assembly when it allows.

This will probably be the easist option for you, sometimes 2wd trans are hard to find. Just an option available to ya.

 

thanks im just looking for the cheapest option out there. how much would a transfer case be??
