An anyone tell me what 5 speed transmission is in the 1988 jeep Cherokee pioneer

Either BA-10 or AX15 but likely the BA-10.

The ba splits down the middle, there is a line from the front, where it meets the motor, to the back where it meets the tcase or DS if 2wd.


The AX opens up cross ways.
