I thought maybe I had a break catching but today I made it home an stopped in my driveway then tryed to pull up an it wouldn't catch would go in reverse an drive backwards but not forward any ideas??

Checked fluid in your transmission lately? Sounds like you're slipping. There's a dipstick under the hood for this. If it's thin and watery or smells burnt - really anything other than red - it's toast. If you haven't changed it in the last few years or have no idea when it was done then you really should. Just a drain and fill with Dexron/Mercon. Dexron III has superceded Dexron II but is still compatible. A lot of brands just label it "D/M". Do NOT get ATF+ or ATF4 or similar

Yes ATF4 causes slipping in the AW4s
