Can I swap 231 for a 242 without any difficulties? Or are they different lengths and need to swap driveshafts? Not sure if spline count matters either but any incite would be greatly appreciated!

Maybe transfercase would have been a better title. Try searching on here or other forums I've definately seen something about this on here however
