Transfer case swap
My transfer case in my 00 is shot. I have a spare from a 94. I noticed that the tail housings look different. After some research I read that you need to swap the tail housings? How difficult is this? Just un-bolt and bolt on?

Yeah it's pretty easy. This document shows everything you could possibly want to know: http://www.pirate4x4.com/tech/billav...Case_NP231.pdf
The worst part will be the stupid "slinger" or dust cap that's pressed onto the main shaft. Getting it off of your 2000 is going to suck.
I'm not sure if the shafts are the same with regard to snap ring channels and a place for that "slinger". You might need to swap that over as well.
