Default Transfer case noise

I have a 01 cherokee, sometimes i can even get the transfer case in 4hi? Also when it does go in and im going 15-20mph it have a load bearing/chain noise under my console? Anyone seen this? Thanks

Yep seen it and heard it, sounds like you might have a stretched T-case chain..

If you have to replace the linkage, check out Tera Flex, they have a real nice up grade kit. But why do you think you need all new linkage?

I found the problem guys!!!!! it is either a broken snap ring or thrust washer for my output shaft. it about ready to come out!! I can pull it out about a 1/2 inch and it has worn a groove in that steel shield around the shaft. Im probely going to try and find a rebuild kit with a chain and also put a SYE and a new driveshaft in.
