Been chasing a terrible clunk/bang for the last couple months in 2wd and 4wd.

have done the obvious things like ujoints, flex plate. Did a new trans and torque converter. Full tune up, does it hot and cold.

was hand turning the front output shaft and found this gem. Thoughts on how abnormal it is? Link below.

 

Split the tcase, your issue is inside.

 

Range fork pads are nonexistent and lay in ruins in the bottom of the case.

 

Plastic, could drive through it. :-)
