trans switch on dash

what the heck is it and what is it for i see it sais sprort and comfort but i cant tell a difference what do i look for when i switch it on sport

I think it has something to do with TC lockup. I leave mine in power because it shifts better, at least in my truck. Comfort actually shifted hard.

Its basically for towing applications as far as I can tell. I leave mine in comfort for daily driving but when I'm towing I use power. seems to help the trans shift while towing.

The only difference between the two is the shift points. On the power setting it shifts at a higher rpm and opposite on the comfort. If the switch is bad you wont feel a difference
