Default should i keep my 2.5l

hi, im new to the forums and this is my first thread,i just got my first xj and its a 84 2.5 liter 4 cyl 5spd the reason i bought was cause it was a manual, i was wondering if anyone has a lifted jeep with a 2.5 4 cyl and how it does, or would do with all the extra weight of the roofrack, bumper, axles, ect... i looked up the weight of a cherokee and the specs said 3300 pounds, but the 4runner has the 22re that has 117 hp (jeep has 105 but its carbed so ya...) but anyway the toyota weighs 3900 and it seems to do okay, so how do you think my jeep would do and what should i do to make it go a little harder. thanks

crap sorry wrong post place i didnt know this was for stock stuff.. ill post this on the other one then and i cant find out how to delete it
