Ok so I pulled a fuse under the dash that said trans on it, would that work? If so then there is still something wrong with the trans becouse that did not change anything.

It sounds like the pump is toast.

Disagree. I'm not sure they have a weak spot. In high school I did a burnout in my jeep for so long that the tire (open diff) was down to the belt and the trans was so overheated it would not shift until the next morning. 8 years later, I dragged a 4000 pound boat across the US with no trans cooler. I lost lockup several times and had to stop and let it cool down. I've been abusing the hell out of this trans for 10 years now and it refuses to die. It slips a tad between 1 and 2, but it's been doing that for about 6 years and hasn't gotten any worse. Then only work I've done to the trans is a few fluid changes and new shift solenoids 2 years ago.

Ok, I will look again for that harness when I get a chance. I have been putting all of my extra time into the 90 model that I picked up.

Not hard to find, they told you exactly where it is...
You dont have to pull the bottom panel out, should be able to reach under and unplug it.

Well I pulled that connection from the box, and nothing changed. Oh well looks like I will be pulling everything wanted for my 1990 model, and selling the rest of the 87 for parts.

Well, I'm not sure what to look for on the mechanical side. I guess dropping the pan and seeing what kind of debri, if any is there.
