Default trans problem can someone help please

ok... i have a 1990 cherokee limited and it runs fine
when you drive it it shifts really nice in every gear works and there is no slipping but when your cruising say 45 mph it will down shift like if you were to mash the gas pedal but im not. and it will do the same really when cruising at any speed. and when it does do it when step on the gas a little bit it will shift back into overdrive or what ever is the next gear. i know my jeeps pretty good but i never came across this problem i hope somebody could help

The three things I can think of are the t.p.s,it can cause shifting problems, but the ones I have seen with it the trany not wanting to shift before 4,500rpm,the trany control module under the right dash, gray box. or the solenoids in the trany itself,if one of them is going south it will adjust the pressure and cause this. pressing on the pedal to resolve it kinda sounds like the t.p.s or module.
