trans drain plug?????

trans drain plug?????
Before I drive this thing into lake mead! What the hell is the size and tool for the transmission drain plug for a BA 10/15 5sp manual trans? It is square and looks like a 3/8 drive socket wrench end. But it is too big and 1/4" drive is too small.
