i have a 94xj and had the pump seals replaced along with the torque converter bushing. we put the trans back in sat with a new filter and fluid and now it won't shift out of low gear. we were told to check the valve body and did, it appears ok, checked the shift solenoids and they engaged under batt. power. when we pulled the trans we forgot to disconnect the detent cable. when the trans came down it got pulled out alond with some of the wires. it stretched the detent cable and we rewired the electrical, but it still won't shift. also the speedometer never has worked so i replaced the speed sensor, still nothing. can anyone help? i'm at a loss right now.
