87 cherokee ba 10/5 4.0 4wd. so i had to swap out the transmission when i bought this jeep due to 5th gear being completly screwed up and when i did the tail housing off the other transmission didnt match up with the transfer case, although the transmission had "xj" stamped into it. so i swaped in the old tail shaft and now theres a gap in the bottem where they meet and im leaking oil wich i assume is from that spot. any ideas on why they wouldnt match up? any ideas on how i can fix my leak?
