Tranny temp guage sender question
Has anyone put in a tranny temp guage sender using their threaded drain plug hole? I bought a new tranny temp guage and the sender is threaded for the drain plug hole.
Just curious.

No I have one too but was planning to put it in one of the lines going forward toward the radiator/cooler. Never considered the drain plug.

Thats my plan as well. Install in the cooler inlet line to get an accurate trans temp.
Where do you plan to install the gauge? I'm thinking an a-pillar pod if i can find one.

Yeah I have a dual guage A piller pod from Summit but it is black. Gotta paint it. Got a oil temp gauge too but really have no idea where to put it unless I drop the pan and weld a bung in the side.
