?? Tranny Rebuild of 2010 ??
Ok, I may have messed up, but its something that can be fixed if need be.
After countless hours (this is my first rebuild attempt), I have the transmission rebuilt, but when I put the valve body back together, I poured clean transmission over the upper and lower bodies (with appropriate gaskets in between, and as suggested by another forum member) and scrwed them together.
However, now I am thinking the bodies should remain hollow as much as possible. Should I re-open my transmission to empty the fluid that remains before I start it for the first time, or will the fluid levels adjust themselves when the tranny is operational?
I thank you in advance for your advice.
