Remember how i had tranny problems? well i still do, i even changed the tps.
im thinking i need a new one. the owner before me used it for hauling and it was a farm vehicle. so im thinking i need a new one or a complete rebuild. but im leaning towards one a guy i know is offering me. he would sell it to me and put it in for 400 bucks. he said it ran well when it was in the jeep he has.
should i go for it?

 

You get what you pay for ..... most of the time. Second, Why did he take it out of his jeep?

 

You do a trans flush at all?

 

i dont know why he took it out, probably he had someone that wanted it but didnt come and get it. i didnt flush it, but that could make it worse.

 

Well I would atleast change the fluid and filter and refill with some kind of tranny additive!! Good Luck!!
