I recently bought a 98 XJ and had a local shop change the tranny fluid and filter. The shop said they used atf-4 due to the chrysler TSB. After researching on this site, I found that I'm only supposed to use Dexron III. Can I just drain the pan and refill since the filter is new? Should I drain and refill a few times to flush the system? Also, I can't find anything about mixing dexron and atf 4. Can the two be mixed?
