Tranny Fluid Line Broke, Help!!!!!!

Tranny Fluid Line Broke, Help!!!!!!
Yesterday my tranny cooling line coming from the radiator came off, I dumped all my tranny fluid. I drove about a mile to find a place to pull over. Now my XJ wont budge. I replaced the line and got 4qts of tranny fluid. I plan to fill it when I get home. Do you think I fried the tranny driving it while the fluid was coming out? You can put it in D and it will not move.

did you fill it back up its going to take more than 4 qts if it all came out total would be around 8qts do not over fill put some in and check vechicle must be running

if it was still moving when you stopped you should be good if it stopped moving and you coasted to the side of the road cross your fingers
