Question Tranny fluid?????
Could anyone suggest the best type of fluid to use in a 1985 straight six automatic three speed with overdrive. Also need to know how much it takes.Thank you in advance for your knowlege.

'85? It should be a V6 and not a straight six.... unless you swapped it.

Either way I believe its Dexron/Mercon.

Sorry it's an 87 just got it confused with one of my other toys.I tried the fluid change thing and it did not solve the problem.It's going to the transmission shop on thursday$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Dexron/Mecron is the way to go.
