you can probably get a factory one from the junkyard with all the lines for fairly cheap also.
i was thinking of getting a factory bmw oil cooler all the lines and using it for an engine oil cooler and then getting a tranny cooler off any jeep and using that for the tranny. both of those ought to be a huge help to the engine and tranny

GM trucks usually have pretty good coolers, I usually get them at the junk yards for next to nothing all u gotta do is clean them out. They have a nice piece towards the top that makes it really easy to use some self tapping screws and go right into the core support, very clean looking install then. Just a thought

I presume it works good.....don't have a tranny temp gauge installed. At 24,000 lbs GVWR, it's massive compared to a stock auxiliary cooler. Overkill, maybe.....but it's compact and leaves a lot of condenser and radiator exposed.

Sure they do the same thing - remove heat from the tranny fluid but wouldn't you think a larger cooler would remove more heat quicker than a small dinky cooler, like the factory unit????? Why do they make 2 row and 3 row rads when they all pretty much do the same thing???????

.....and to play it safe, always run the auxiliary cooler inline with AND after the factory cooler in the rad. That's the way the factory runs the auxiliary cooler with the factory tow pkg.
