Will a tranny out of a 98 Cherokee work on a 96

AW4? It will bolt up, but I believe you'll need to swap the harness, just drop the pan, disco the solenoids, feed the pigtsils up thru, reinstall your 96 harness. 98 might have a differnet speed sensor system. There's a "all you need to know about AW4 swaps" thread on NAXJA

Reason I ask is cause I had a mechanic swap mine out after he did it he said it shift way to fast now would that be the speed sensor
