trailer wiring harness wired to taillights??

Default trailer wiring harness wired to taillights??
Ok I was rear-ended a few days ago and the trailer wiring harness was cut off. Now my taillights don't work........would that cause them not to work?

the trailer harness just sort of forms a Y in the harness so i guess it depends on where you cut it at.. or it could have grounded it out and popped a fuse

it cut it about 2-3 inches from the end. Everytime I replace fuse it blows.

then its grounded out on something... try seperating the ground wire from the harness(the white one) so that it cant touch any of the other ones

Ok. Would I have to remove bumper to replace harness?

shouldnt have to... you migh tbe able to just unplug the harness and just go without he trailer harness
