trail damage!!!!! want opinions for a fix

Talking trail damage!!!!! want opinions for a fix

ok sooo i found i ripped the rear shock off the rear body today, has anybody relocated their shocks to the main unibody rail basically mounting them like a chevy truck? i think it is a better way to go but i am asking opinions...keep in mind i am a very good fabricator

i dont see why not, just plate the unibody in that area to distribute the pressure. and do it to both sides... haha

i want a story of how this happened!!!

well it happend because i was cheap....when i built the lift i moved the axle mounts to the top of the axle and used the stock shocks (idk what i was thinking) well they bottomed out when i inadvertantly hit a rut at a good clip and i think that did the damage someone had already *fixed* the top mount i'm assuming the previous own had a weldnut spin well by the end of the day it had ripped clean off...... oh and just for kick here's some footage:
