ok i saw a pic of a wrangler with tractor tires.. this means i have to do it. does anyone know whats involed?

Depends on the size of the tires.

Wouldnt take more than a lift and fender trim..

i dont see why they wouldnt be legal as long as you can make fender flares to cover them

Only thing about running them on the road is most tractor tires are only rated
for 25 mph tops. They'll self destruct at high speeds

Definitely would need to upgrade the axles with those suckers on there. Dana 60 in the rear and Dana 44 in the front should hold up to that. Seems kind of impractical though unless your Jeep is gonna be used only offroad. Because those tires are probably more than $1000 each and would wear REAL quick on the road.

yeah i think im just going to go with a good pair of boggers... hey whats better tsl's or boggers.

Tractor tires are not legal on the highway in a Jeep. All legal tires have to have a DOT number. To do what this Wrangler did, you will need to stiffen the frame a lot and custom suspension with a ton of lift and Rockwells.

a guy i wheel with at mud runs had little tractor tires on his stock xj there probly close to a 235/75-15 or 30's
