Trackbar question.

Well.
Hacked into the J/Y trackbar.
And this is what I found....
Where does the TUBING start???

Quite thin. I do not know if it can be drilled and tapped.
I may have to rethink this thru...

Measures roughly 1.093 in diameter. More than enough for this
Stainless Steel rod end. 5/8" RH Fine thread

Taking the trackbar into work and will mill the end square. And drill and tap for the rod-end. I will post pics when I get it finished.

FWIW, TIG is stronger than MIG. Even with smaller beads, in most applications TIG is stronger than MIG. Hope this helps you a bit Blue. BTW, it is PFH to do.....well. That's why good TIG welders, make the long money!!
