Track loc???
Theres is a local guy selling a factory track loc carrier from his D44. I really dont know about them and how they work. I've installed an Eaton E locker in my D30, would the track loc be an inexpensive upgrade for my D44? Thanks in advance! Oh yeah, it's the carrier and axle shafts, all for $80. Was gonna take the axles for spares...

Its better than an open diff but worse (in most applications) than a full locker.
If you get far enough, or even pick a tire up, that limited slip will be just like an open diff.

That helped! I Googled limited slip and got some answers. I tried track loc but gave me for sale items. I think for $80 it's a good deal for now

I ran limited slip in the front and rear of a Ford truck I had. It wheeled hard enough to surprise all the Jeepers I wheeled with. It just didn't fit between the trees very well most of the times. I liked my cheap wheeler.
