Good news! Glad it worked out.

I assume you have to jack the car up and get both wheels off the ground to do this?

No, wheels need to be on ground and straight, then make adjustment. The steering wheel will start turning one way or the other when you turn the adjuster
I like to put a piece of blue tape at center of steering wheel, can look over hood and adjust until centered.

Yeah. I left both wheels on the ground and I actually turned it too many times and the wheel moved the other way and I had to take it back in. So it didn't take too many turns to get it straight.
