track bar help

okay i have a 3in lift on my 1990 cherokee i keep breaking bolts that bolt the bar to my axle im using grade eight bolts with it too i was wondering if it time for an ajustable one or what should i do. thanks

Grade 8 is too much.
Use Grade 5.
The harder the bolt more prone it is to simply SNAPPING.
A Grade 5 will "give" but retain its integrity.
I have heard of some organizations that frown on Gr8 on recovery points because of the snapping. In fact someone mentioned that on this forum in a "tow-hook" thread.
Try switching out to Grade 5 hardware first, since this seems to be the main problem.

where I worked we used grade 8 bolts on all tow hooks and pintle hook installs.
