Default Track Bar Bracket Removal (need options for a weird bolt/nut combo)

I've never seen this before, but one of the "nuts" securing the track bar bracket is CIRCULAR. This piece busted loose (I'm assuming it was tack-welded to the frame) while I was trying to remove it. I was able to get it to turn, but the circular piece ended up busting loose before I could get the bolt out.

Any ideas? A cut-off wheel seems to be the best option, but I'm looking for alternatives. I don't have a torch either.

Is there enough room to squeeze in a large pair of vice grips or small pipe wrench to hold it while you crank it out?

Besides that^,
I doubt there is room but I wonder if you could drill the head off the bolt. Or at least get it enough that you could then chisel the rest off.

If you're upgrading to a new bracket (such as a double-shear setup) I'd just cut the whole damn thing away.

There is room, but the vise grips would not keep the 'nut' from spinning.

Sounds like it could work, thanks.

I am (FST OTA setup). I don't have any cut-off wheels and I was too lazy to drive the 10mi to the nearest place to get some. I'll pick some up tomorrow. Looks like there is plenty of room in there to cut the bolt.

Is this a stock circle nut or completely random?

Well, make them tighter! Run it IN and clean what threads you can. (small wire brush). Get that nut hot. Heck, short to it with a positive jumper cable. (Just thought of that). Put regular oil on it. If you got it to move,....maybe it will go with a little more help and the right vise-grip.

I do love my dremmel. amazing what that little thing can do.
