TPS problem

1994 Cherokee 4.0...started getting a 2-4 code for my tps..replaced tps and after it warms up abit it starts sputtering and almost dying and check engine light comes on saying its a 2-4 again..any other place I should look?..thanks

how do the connector contacts look on the wiring harness?

What brand TPS did you use? Lots of horror stories about some brands being DOA right out of the box.

bought from rockauto....runs fine when cold....good idle...no problem...when it get up to operating temp is when the CEL comes on and it starts to sputter and when coming to stop rpm's go way down with my 5 speed...code says 2-4 same thing as b4....thanks..about to pull my hair out...lol
