MOPAR TPS for the Cherokee are getting harder and harder to find. For those of you searching here are the two part numbers to look for on 1996 and older Cherokees. 5234904 is the original OEM part #. 4761871 is the part # that super cedes that number for MOPAR. Only found that out because I found desk jockey at a Dealer that went and really searched that out for me.

I found several places around the net that advertised 4874371AC as a part that would fit 94-01 Cherokees but they will NOT fit 95, 96 for sure (I've looked at both) and probably not a 94 either. I am completely unsure on the 97+ Cherokees for that part number.

This is just a little information for those new to this. I couldn't find the correct part# for a bit and was confused by what some people offered that would fit but certainly didn't look like what was on mine. So if what you are getting doesn't cross reference with those first 2 part # it won't work on 96 and earlier Cherokees. When you call your local dealership you can ask if anyone else has an on hand for those part numbers and they can search other dealers inventory. If they were anything like the one I dealt with they sent the part to me quickly at a reasonable price.
