Okay, so the other day my truck decides it doesn't want to shift out of 2nd gear so I get to come home at 35 mph the whole way.....So, with some help from you all I figured it was the T.P.S., cracked it loose cleaned it up and put it back together to find it was way worse wouldn't come out of first now...adjusted it and it started running perfect.
Now next day first start it goes back to bogging at stop sign not shifting out of second...stop...adjust t.p.s. a little bit and I'm off again running like a champ.
Now this being the 4th day doing the same thing...first start bogging and no shifting....adjust T.P.S. and I'm good to go for that start and run time.....
W.T.H. ! PLEASE HELP ! IMMA GO CRAZY !

Did you actually adjust the TPS to specifications, or just move it around? Here is a good link on adjusting it the right way. Also check your grounds - intermittent/poor grounds can be a killer.

I have a TPS issue too. I tried checking the voltage but I couldn't get a reading at all. My Jeep shifts it just shifts through all the gears before I even get to 35mph. I've been running it for a year now like this. No clue.
RENIXBEAST: You realize that you have to leave the TPS hooked up and backprobe the connections to check the voltage, right? If you don't have power to your TPS, it's going to run terribly - it would be very noticable.

Yeah I used the http://billyxj.tripod.com/SENSORS1/page1.html write up. I left both connection and tried sticking the leads through the back of the connector. I just couldn't get a reading no matter what I did. The leads went all the way in the connector just no power.
