I almost got them on my jeep but I was told the same thing. They are also suppose to wear out pretty quick but what m/t doesnt.

yep, I've got the Pro Comp Xterrains on the jeep now and they started to chop up with less than 15,000 miles with alignments and good rotation (3,000) miles. I would not recommend them. The Toyos have a great following but I was told that the they are great for the F250's and larger trucks but not for the jeep. If that is the case I am starting to look at the BFG MT Km2's. They seem pretty good for a daily driver/offroad use

The Toyo MT is a great tire. They will work fine on a Cherokee. One of the guys I wheel with runs 33x13.50 15s on his YJ and they flex like crazy, he airs down around 6-8 lbs for snow and does great. The bad rap that the Toyo MT got was basically from guys buying E rated tires and not being able to wheel with them because the side walls will not flex. ( duh! )
As for wearing out quick the Toyo MTs wear as good or better than most all of the Max Traction tires out there. ( remember this isn't a All Terrain tire )

My cousin runs the toyo MTs on his mj and XJ and I've never seen him get stuck and not for lack of tryin I have the bfg km2s on both my XJs and there great but the only down fall is they don't have the best traction on wet pavement.

Short answer, I don't know, I don't run that small of a tire on a rig I wheel.
I'm sure you can find out at the tire shop.

Max Traction tires are not noted for having great traction on wet roads. They will do great if you have the tire shop sipe the centers. I have had every tire I've bought in the last 14 years siped and have no problems on wet or snowy roads.
