I saw that, just wondering if anybody has had any experience or problems in doing so. I tow my CJ7 but it has lock out hubs.

i have seen it done while on the highway(passed a few of them) never done it myself. but if you think about it its just like coasting down a hill.... i dont see any problem with it! if you are super worried about it pull the driveshafts so only your axles are spinning

Not to threadjack, but what about towing with the front wheels on a dolly? The rental companies all say the driveshaft MUST be removed. I don't see any need for it if the t-case and trans is in Neutal. Any thoughts?

Towing a REAR wheel drive vehicle, nose-up, can damage the trans. this is why they say you have to remove the shafts. The N position of a TC, accomplishes this by diconecting the shafts from the trans.

If your t-case doesn't offer the 2WD option, which could be used while dolly-towing, you must remove either the front or rear drive-shaft when towing a full-time 4WD vehicle with a tow-dolly. T-case damage will result if you don't do this. At least that what the manual states.
