Default towing

hello all i have an 89 laredo with the 4.0 and auto trans i plan on pulling around some small trailers and i dont quite know what i should do. Can i just just flip the switch to power and leave it in drive or should i leave it on comfort and put it in third?

leave it the power setting all the time regardless of towing or not

tow in drive unless it wants to shift back and forth then drop a gear
other than that you need a proper tow hitch and if its a big trailer get one with breaks
