Default tow kit sagging rear end

I just put a tow kit on yesterday that a buddy gave ne, and it looks like the rear end is sagging all be it ever so slightly. Can the weight of just that cause it to sag a little bit or is it just in my head? That thing must only weigh 30-40 lbs. I getting ready to put on a 2" shackles/spacer lift, so will that fix it? I have original leaf springs ( 2001 with 75000 miles ). Could these need replacing? Thanks for any info

its possible, springs on this things wear out pretty fast the lift will help but itll still sag a lil more in the rear, what you could do is get some leaf springs out of an s10 or blazer or dakota and put hose under there to help with that

I think that flexy leaf springs are better than new ones.. flex way more .. lift it with shackles and level the front to match

If it's a DD consider air adjustable rear shocks for towing. I Keep around 40 PSI in mine and it sits a little above factory height. If I'm towing something with a few hundred pounds of tongue weight I put 100 PSI in them and it sits perfectly level.
