Default tow hooks

hi i was wondering if it was a good idea to make some tow hook brackets for the front or if i should just buy them. if i make them what kind of metal should i use.

Just buy them. They are a cheap enough bolt on to splurge on. I got these C4x4 ones for under $70.00 new. You can pull my rig in a circle if you wanted to. No flex no bending. Aviod Rustys hooks.

i just upgraded to the hi-country d-rings and they kick **** highly reccomended, (have the C4x4 brackets)

dont have to cut the bumper but i dont have the splash shield

Also see if there is a fab shop near you. I have JCR here in town and I think they do tow hook brackets as a special order. Don't know how much off hand, but if you have a place local they may be willing to make them up for you a little cheaper and with no shipping.

The high country offroad shackle brackets didn't fit my '01. They failed to mention what years they fit. I thought they'd fit any year, I was wrong.
