tow hitch hardware

I have a hitch to put on my 2000 cherokee but i need hardware. where's an easy place to get the cherokee specific hardware for my hitch? it has the passenger side nut strips already

I just ordered new nut strips for my 01 from JCR Offroad. it was like 44 with shipping it comes with 1/2" hardware also.... OEM strips will cost you 40 for 1 side.

i have the factory nut strip on the passenger side. i'm looking for the nuts bolts steel plates. any idea where to get those locally? without having to order them online hopefully haha

Or call Curt Hitchs and ask them if you can buy a install hardware bag. They have all the square plates and such for the install.. Unless u have a plasma cutter to make your own... only other option is new nut strip.

You can buy the nutstrips from the stealership. They are called "sill reinforcement brackets" through Chrysler.
You can also order them from morris 4x4 much cheaper.

If you live anywhere remotely near the rust belt you might want to go ahead and buy both of them as both of my XJ's had nutstrips that were almost completely rusted out.

I installed my hitch and only used 2 bolts out of my hardware kit. I have the wire fish and all the mounting plates.. Not sure if they are worth anything. Let me know if you are interested.. OR.. Drive to Grand Junction on March 3rd and go wheeling with us at Bangs Canyon..
