touchup painting and xj
So I went to a body shop today and was not too surprised to find out that they wanted $1500+ to repaint my hood and fix some cracked paint on the roof (starting to rust). Needless to say I would rather spend this money on something better for the cherokee so here is my question: Has anyone on here done any automotive painting with the "preval" cartridge spray paint system? It is pretty cheep and from what I've seen it looks up to the task. Any input? Thanks!

ya man $1500 is redonkulas. just go to home depot and buy a HVLP sprayer. runs around 80 bucks and paint it your self. if its your first time painting with a gun go with white or a really light color. cuz then you wont see the over spray. i paint for my dad who is a custom carpenter and he needs stuff like cabinets and entertainment centers painted. i think its super fun. but thats just me.
