More updates! So over the weekend, I finally got around to replacing my upstream sensor before the cat. I immediately noticed a smoother idle, and the OBDII test that was failing previous now passes. However, I now have a new "NOT OK":

According to this site, this is related to O2 bank 1 sensor 2. Great! I guess I shouldn't have been cheap and got the second sensor too. That is now on my list of things to do...however, I'm not sure how trustworthy this information is--it shows that the previous $11 test is "Absolute Throttle position sensor" for Mode 1, which is what I believe the CID $01 is referring to.
Helpful link: http://www.outilsobdfacile.com/obd-mode-pid.php < this site has some good information on OBDII data. The problem is, all the research I'm doing comes up inconclusive with little to no concrete information on what these PIDs and CIDs are. They seem to be manufacturer-specific. Anyone know where to get a Chrysler spec sheet on this stuff?
And just for kicks, here's my realtime data screen. Thermostat is workin pretty darn good!

Haha, I plug mine in every now and then and have a mess, I don't exactly understand a lot of the output nor do I understand if my own figures are normal or not.
I use the same layout as you so will have a look and see if mine does the same.

Absolutely! When I bought mine I searched CF for similar posts on translating the data and understanding my output but found nothing. I hope too for this thread to evolve. Count me in!

Ah, I have just noticed yours failed on the same thing. Yep, certainly not alone!
I'd like to see some live data posted of 'a normal journey' and see if I can compare the output. What sensors/values do you think should be monitored for this to happen?

If I'm honest, I don't think the app is either accurate nor inaccurate. The app simply presents data from the PCM to us humans in a nice readable format. The app will simply display whatever the PCM tells it to.
For what it's worth, I think it's well worth the money. Hope this helps.

GO GET IT. It costs around 30 bucks for the dongle, and the Torque Pro app.

I might see if I can make this happen. Now that I know what the Jeep ECU supports, I think the important ones would be O2 sensors and temp sensors...hmmm

I'm just reading your build thread since we have the same Jeeps. I saw you were about to sit your ccna. I work in IT too. I'm up to page 7 now so not found out how you got on yet.
Looks like we have the same rust issues in the same places too. Your 'rust warrior' status made me read your project and I figure I need to learn how to obtain the same status
I'll have a mess around with my logging too and see what I can get. I'm trying to get the auto upload feature working so I can automatically upload that journeys logs
