Topped off tank reading empty on gauge?

Topped off tank reading empty on gauge?

So I got my new fuel rank wired up, but my sender is reading backwards. Instead of reading full when I topped it off it was reading empty. Any ideas for how to fix this problem?

Yep... you got a new sender to didn't you???

Renix senders are polarized the opposite than the newer senders....

check all the wiring and if that dont do it id say just get a new sending unit

It was already wired up, I just plugged it in. I tried plugging it in backwards, it didn't fit, but did make the connection. The pump ran backwards, but the sender read full.
