topguncustomz's
Has anybody ever purchased from this company on e-bay? Just wondering if they work well with customers. Am thinking of buying a rough country 3'' lift from them. They want $229 + $40 S/H.
Any thoughts? Good deal or look else where?

A buddy used them for his Suburban Skyjacker lift. I think that there was some issue but cant remember what it was. However, he is not the sharpest tool in the shed so it could have been his fault

Just call rough country to order directly do not go through a reseller for their stuff. The price is the same as what their site has and if you call grimus you can get 10% off usually.
They sell rough country products on ebay. I bought add a leaf kit from them when i first got the jeep. They shipped it fast and no problems.

Thanks Mudd. I looked at the link you provided. Pretty good prices.
I bought my adj track bar from them. the price was the same as rough country's website BUT topgun had a $5 shipping charge whereas RC wanted $15 to ship it.
I have a feeling RC and topgun are the same company tho, reason being is if you look at RC's website there is a link on there for topguncutomz lift kits.
as for topgun themselves overall it was an ok purchase.
I ordered it and paid with paypal immediately, I got an email saying the order had processed and they would send me an email to let me know ehen it shipped. a few days later I had heard nothing further, so I sent an email and got a reply saying that it was being drop-shipped from the warehouse (aka rough country's warehouse) directly to me and as soon as it shipped they would email me the trcking number. the next day my trackbar showed up on the ups truck. I still to this day have not recieved ANY emails giving me any shipping info.
prior to my ordering the trackbar I had a question about the trackbar because RC's site said 4-6" lift but topgun's auction said 3"-6", so I emailed them using their "ask a question" link on the ebay auction and I never got any answer EVER.
aside from that I have no complaints.
they have similar prices to the manufacturer BUT better shipping prices which makes it cheaper overall to go through them.
so basically if you know what you want and wont need to ask any questions then they are a good company to use. but if you expect/need good communication on/about your order then I wouldnt expect much
I will consider using them again but only if I know what I need or want

Thanks to all for the info. Sounds like the majority have had a pretty good experience with them. As far as the shipping time, that is no worry since I am in Kuwait for another 5-6 months.
I bought some spacers from them on ebay...their policy is to have the items IN YOUR HANDS within 10 days. They make a BIG DEAL about it on their policy page. They also say they will notify you when your item ships, and that if there is a delay they will notify you. On Day 11, not having received any notification, I e-mailed them, politely asking for a delivery confirmation #. The spacers were shipped out on Day 12...so much for policy. The actual delivery time wouldn't have mattered all that much, but they make such a BIG DEAL about promised delivery time and didn't follow through.
And $9 shipping for just a pair of 3/4" spacers is a bit much, IMHO.
YMMV.
